  • Originally, my address was written as a Malaysian address, but the VFS staff said I needed to write a Taiwanese address. They immediately corrected it and translated my residence permit address into English (very impressive).
  • Because I was afraid of making mistakes, I only needed to fill out Sections A, B, and D, and asked the staff to help check. They said everything that needed to be filled out was done.
  1. Copy of residence permit
I actually didn't prepare this, but I always carry my residence permit with me. The staff took my document and made a copy, so everyone should remember to bring it for safety.

  2. Cash NT1590

Follow-up Tracking

After completing the application, the staff said that the New Zealand Immigration Department is quite busy lately, and the processing time is about 2-3 weeks. If you don't receive anything within a month, you can email the following address. They said not to call because they won't answer XDD

The email needs to include the following information: name, app ref, passport number.

The day after the application, I logged into the immigration website and saw the new application number, but it was still pending. About a week later, I received the new e-visa. I hope this helps those in need!
